Description: | Ultrasonography of the liver of experimental dogs showed dilatation of the hepatic veins, an increase in the volume of the gallbladder and dystrophic changes in the structure of the organ. In dogs with hepatodystrophy, hypoalbuminemia and hyperbilirubinemia were observed with moderate and severe degrees of liver damage. An early method of diagnosing hepatopathy is the determination of the activity of indicator enzymes (AST, ALT, GGT) in blood serum. |
